Jax: Alan, Monica, get out here!
Skye: Give it up, you old coot.
[While Jax is inside getting help, Skye manages to hide the contract]
Edward: Oh...
Jax: Yeah, send an ambulance to 57 Lake Road. A man has collapsed. He's had heart problems before. [to Skye] Is he breathing?
Skye: Yes, barely.
Jax: Yeah, he's barely breathing. Alan?! Monica?!
Edward: [to Skye] I'll get you for this. You and that Aussie. Oh!
Alan: Father?
Jax: Yep.
Alan: Father, what happened? Oh, my God, hang on.
Monica: Edward...
Jax: Ok, thanks.
Monica: Is this real?
Alan: There, there.
Skye: It's definitely real.
Alan: Hang on.
Monica: Edward, what happened here?
Alan: Do you have a headache?
Monica: Edward, can you hear us? Edward?
Alan: Father? Do you feel any weakness anywhere?
AJ: What happened?
Skye: I don't know, he just collapsed.
AJ: Why?
Skye: I mean, he was fine. I don't know.
Jax: [pulling Skye away] Alan and Monica know what they're doing.
Alan: Strong but tachy.
Monica: Edward, does your chest hurt?
Edward: Oh, my head.
Alan: Father, squeeze my fingers.
Edward: Stop shouting!
Alan: Squeeze my fingers.
Monica: Good.
Alan: Give me your other hand. Squeeze my fingers. Squeeze my fingers!
Edward: I am.
Monica: Edward, can you move your feet?
Alan: [they notice that Edward has no movement on the left side of his body] I think it might be a CVA.
Skye: What's that?
Monica: It's a stroke.
AJ: We actually came together as a family to celebrate.
Alexis: I can't watch this.
Ned: Let's go. [she and Ned go back inside]
Monica: What could've triggered this?
Alan: I don't know. There weren't any rhythm irregularities.
 Monica: Skye, what did you say to him?
Skye: Nothing. He just gave me his present. He was fine.
Alan: [Edward starts to get upset] Father? Father, don't, don't. Just take it easy.
Jax: Take it easy, Edward. Take it easy.
Monica: I've got a strong pulse.
Jax: Look, I'm going to see if I can flag down that ambulance at the turnoff.
AJ: Can I see him?
Alan: I think that it would probably be a good idea.
[Siren]
AJ: Hey. Your family is here, ok? You just hang in there. We're going to take care of you.
[inside]
Alexis: I'm all right, Ned. Honestly, I am.
Ned: Any pain?
Alexis: No. Look, this is more bothersome to you, I'm sure.
Ned: Skye had to have something to do with this. God only knows what she said to him.
Alexis: Or vice versa.
[back outside]
Alan: [to the paramedics] We've got a possible CVA, slurred speech, right hemiparesis.
Monica: He lost consciousness briefly. His pulse is strong now. He has a history of recent bypass, and I'll give you a list of his meds.
Paramedic: Thanks, we'll take it from here.
Alan: [to Monica] You go to the hospital. I'll ride with father.
Paramedic: Ready? Let's go.
AJ: I'm going to ride with Grandfather, as well.
[they all leave]
Jax: You all right?
Skye: All this is my fault.
Jax: No, Skye, this is not your fault.
Skye: No, I did this to Edward. I did it. All I wanted was tonight to be perfect. Instead they're loading Edward into an ambulance.
Jax: He's in good hands.
Skye: He was saying terrible things about you, about us.
Jax: Skye...
Skye: He was saying that you never loved me, that our marriage would never last. That you raid companies, you raid lives. Why did I stand there and argue with him? I should've just walked away.
Jax: No, hey, this isn't your fault.
Skye: I should've just stayed with you.
Jax: Edward, Edward cannot destroy our love, ok? No one can.
Jax: I'm going to get the car, ok?

[Skye grabs the contract and stuffs it in her purse, then meets Jax at the car to go see Edward]

[on the docks]
Alcazar: Accidents happen. I told you this early on.
Roy: So you did. Why are you after Jasper Jacks?
Alcazar: Isn't your concern.
Roy: You know that Corinthos is after you.
Alcazar: Sonny Corinthos will never touch me.
Roy: And why is that?
Alcazar: Because I have something he wants more than anything in this world.

[outside Edward's room]
AJ: Should I call Grandmother?
Ned: No, no, not until we know for sure what's going on. [to Alan] What do the tests say?
AJ: Are you sure it was a stroke?
Alan: Yes.
Ned: How severe?
Alan: We don't know yet. Something must've triggered it.
Ned: [to Skye] So what did you say to Grandfather?
Jax: Edward was congratulating Skye. Isn't that what you told me?
Skye: Yes, something like that.
Ned: Why would Grandfather congratulate you for marrying Jax, hmm?
Jax: Exactly. I mean, just the thought of bringing me into the Quartermaine family is what caused this. It's my fault.
[Tony and Monica come out of Edward's room]
Tony: Edward's stable.
Monica: Yes, and he would like to speak to Skye, alone.
[Skye goes to see Edward]
Skye: I have the contract, you old fool. Once I destroy it, you'll never be able to hurt me again.
Edward: I have copies.
[Edward falls unconscious, the monitor alarm beeps and the doctors rush in]
Alan: Two milligrams of Lorazepam!
Monica: [to Skye] Get out of here!
Tony: He may have a bleed.
Alan: I think he's having another stroke.
Tony: Yeah, could be.
Monica: Ok.
[Skye leaves]
AJ: What happened?
Jax: What did Edward say to you?
Skye: He, he forgives me.
Alan: Father has lost consciousness. We may be dealing with a coma.
AJ: I can't take this.
Monica: Alan?! We need you.
